The D72-1.5 Auger Bore machine we purchased this year sure got tested right out of the gate
as we put it on a 550’ shot of 48” casing in hard rock in Alabama. The machine not only met our
expectations it surpassed it. The augers we purchased from Michael Byrne are without a doubt
the toughest and best augers we have used. The twist factor “whiplash or windup” we see with
other augers was never experienced with Michael Byrne auger. Never broke an auger during
this difficult bore.
We knew of Michael Byrne equipment in the past but had not owned any of their machines.
These machines are definitely built to last and the drive train with the Michae Byrne B16
gearbox proved to us it is a difference maker!
